I like to think of the many characteristics of God.  In the Scripture, God is listed with many different titles.  Among these titles are the following characteristics/attributes of God:  holy, love, sovereign, provider, lord, deliverer, savior, king, peace, lover, healer, etc.  One of the attributes that I would like to focus on is God as Healer.

Throughout the entire Bible we see God doing marvelous acts of healing.  God is seen as the One who raises the dead; who cures the leper; who gives sight to the blind; who gives new life to the demonic; who mends the wounded; who give hope to the depressed; who gives encouragement to the disillusioned; etc.  This is the God Who heals.

Prayer- “God, please heal me of all that which holds me back from being all that You created me to be.” A-men.
