Crossfire Ministries-Summer Coach/Counselor-Summer of 2008

Timothy is presently serving as a summer coach/counselor for an international sports ministry.  This summer Timothy has the opportunity to reach out to inner city children and teens with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.

Interim Lead Pastor at West Memorial Baptist Church in Rutherfordton, NC-August ‘07-February ‘08

Timothy served as the interim lead pastor at West Memorial Church.  During this ministry experience, Timothy attempted give new life to a congregation in transition.

Singles Pastor at New River Fellowship Church in Hudson Oaks, Texas-2006-2007

God allowed Timothy to start a new singles ministry-Relevant Singles Ministry from the ground up.  Relevant Singles Ministry was created to provide a city-wide singles Bible study with a focus on preaching and teaching singles in a creative way.  Here are some highlights from this ministry experience:

• Started a new ministry

• Built leadership team

• Focused on large group and small group Bible studies

• Preached for the pastor on the weekend in all four weekend services..

Youth Mission Trip in London, England-July 2007

Timothy was the mission trip speaker for the New River Youth Group mission trip.  He enjoyed speaking to the youth each night and encouraging the youth in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Pulpit Supply for churches, youth groups, etc. 1997-present

Timothy has been a guest speaker for various churches and groups during his 10 year experience of preaching the Gospel.  His goal is to preach the infallible and inerrant Word of God in a creative and compelling manner.

Interim Student Pastor at Merrimon Avenue Baptist Church, Asheville, NC-2004

Timothy was able to serve as the interim student pastor to a church in transition.  God used him to teach middle school, high school, and college students.  He was able to sharpen his ministry skills during this time.  Here are some highlights from this ministry experience:

• Developed the student ministry:  middle school through college

• Preached for the Pastor on Sunday nights when needed

• Developed a small group discipleship program called “Crave University”

Youth Sunday school Teacher at Mud Creek Baptist Church, Hendersonville, NC 2004

Timothy had the experience of teaching Sunday school at a thriving church who had an incredible youth ministry.  This experience was a great one thanks to the dynamic ministries of Mud Creek Baptist Church.  During this experience, Timothy:

• Taught 9th and 10th grade boys

• Learned leadership skill with a challenging class of high school boys

Intern College/Young Singles Pastor at Biltmore Baptist Church, Arden, NC-2003-2004

Timothy was able to serve on staff of one of the 30 fastest growing churches in America–Biltmore Baptist.  God allowed him the privilege of learning key leadership skills of how to run a growing and successful ministry.  During this experience, Timothy…

• Assisted the college pastor and the singles pastor.

• Taught for the college pastor when needed.

• Gained quality experience in a growing church.

Associate Youth Pastor at West Memorial Baptist Church, Rutherfordton, NC-2002

God used this time to help Timothy to develop and refine his preaching and communication skills.  He was able to minister to underprivileged youth who had many challenging life difficulties.  The Lord helped Timothy to…
